Fundraising & Charity Disclosure

1. How Kickball Nation Events Work

Kickball Nation organizes community charity kickball events. Each event connects local entrepreneurs, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, players, and community supporters with a designated beneficiary — which may be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, school, community cause, or other charitable initiative.

2. Beneficiary Identification

For each event, Kickball Nation will identify the benefiting charity, nonprofit, school, community cause, or event purpose where applicable. If a specific beneficiary has not yet been confirmed, the event page will state: "Beneficiary to be announced before collection."

3. Payment Types and Purpose

Payments collected through Kickball Nation events may include:

  • Ticket purchases: Admission to the event
  • Sponsorships: Brand placement, recognition, and promotional benefits
  • Vendor fees: Booth space and selling privileges
  • Donations: Contributions without receiving goods or services in return
  • Advertising purchases: Promotional placement at the event or in event materials
  • Mixed-purpose payments: Combinations of the above

Kickball Nation will identify the payment purpose and provide the appropriate receipt type for each transaction.

4. Tax Treatment

Tax treatment may vary. Ticket purchases, sponsorships, vendor fees, advertising, and event participation may not be fully tax deductible if goods, services, admission, promotion, or other benefits are received. Only the portion above the fair market value of goods or services received may be deductible, if applicable. Certain sponsorships, charitable contributions, or business expenses may qualify for tax benefits depending on applicable law and individual circumstances. Consult your tax advisor.

5. Receipt Types

Kickball Nation will issue the following receipt types based on the nature of the payment:

  • Donation receipt: For pure charitable contributions with no goods or services received
  • Sponsorship invoice: For sponsorship payments with promotional benefits
  • Vendor invoice: For vendor space and selling privileges
  • Ticket receipt: For admission purchases
  • Mixed/quid-pro-quo receipt: For payments where both charitable and non-charitable elements are present

6. Community Impact Goals

Kickball Nation sets community impact goals for each event and season. Impact numbers presented on the website represent goals or targets unless specifically stated as "actual funds distributed" with supporting documentation. $500K+ Community Impact Goal represents our 2026–2027 target, not funds already raised or distributed.
